Sixth Planning Meeting
February 17, 2011
The meeting was opened with reading
an e-mail from Ernie Halley suggesting ideas for our class theme.
His footnote was amusing “Don’t worry about old age; it doesn’t
last long.” Marilyn Loucks – CHS
Foundation wanted to make sure we kept her informed of our 55th Class
Reunion, in order for her to get the information posted on the CHS Foundation
website.
Then time out for lunch.
Menu - Pizza and homemade German Chocolate Cake.
Aline reported she had been working with Dick Rapier providing him
information regarding our 55th
The cover letter and Registration
Form was reviewed and approved by the committee.
Those who have e-mails will receive their Registration Form very soon. At
the next meeting, March 17, copies will be mailed to classmates who do not have
e-mail addresses. It is important to
return your Registration Form, as soon as possible, for class planning purposes.
Fred Boyd reported
names of classmates who have signed up for the Golf Tournament: Fred
Boyd, Mike Richardson, Rodney Blacklock, Ken Kastel, Beth Kastl, Paul Hancock,
Linda Hancock, Ernie Halley, Jim Parker, Dick Gable, Jerry Tinsley, and Dick
Wisher. Fred will need 12 additional
players for the tournament. For
classmates who don’t want to miss out on the golf tournament should call Fred
Boyd at
918-663-8034.
Aline reported classmates who called
in to volunteer to be in our Comedy Fashion Show.
They were Bob Bowles, Diane Mounts, Suzanne Reed, Gretchen Hotz, Carol
Sue Manly, Judy Gwinn and committee members were Sue Bertrem, Jacqueline Wilson,
Gingi Reed, and Fred Boyd. Sue
Venable will by our MC. You will not
want to miss this show! It’s not
too late, we still need more models. So
please let us know if you would like to participate.
Our next meeting has been scheduled for Thursday, March 17,
