Jacqueline Wilson hosted our August 17, meeting. 
We had an excellent turnout of 16 classmates participating in our planning meeting
for the 55th Class Reunion. 

Aline reported that we had 39 hotel reservations and
99 classmate’s reservations to date.

Fred Boyd reported that that we have met our requirement for participants
for the CHS Class Golf Outing scheduled for Friday, September 16, 2011 . 
All participants should arrive at the golf course ( LaFortune Park ) at 7:30 a.m.
and everyone should be finished by Noon .

Carolyn Eads reported the cost of Name Tags and stated that
Martha Bellah Craner will be in town in time to make our Name Tags
on her computer. 
Carolyn reported the cost of a class directory. 
It was decided a CHS Class Directory should be put on the website.

Ruth Penrose Tate, and Donna Lane Jones will meet Aline at the Lodge
on Monday, August 18, 5:00 p.m. to plan for decorating for the event.

All classmates are invited to attend the CHS Social event,
at the Hyatt Southern Hills Hotel - Hyatt Place , 7037 S. Zurich Ave. ,
on Friday evening at 7:00 p.m.  
Please feel free to attend even though you may not be able to attend
the Saturday night event. 
There will be a cash bar, and heavy Hors d’oeuvres provided by classmates.

Aline mentioned that she and Sheila Husted, the sister of Darryl Edelman,
classmate, was putting together a memory book for Darryl and would
appreciate any memory notes you may want to e-mail to her to be included
in the book for Darryl. 
Darryl is very ill and will not be able to attend the reunion.

The remaining meeting was turned over to Jo Russell for her review
of the entertainment.  As we all know that Constitution Day falls on
the day of our reunion, and part of the program will be built around
this special day.  Jo has worked very hard on special entertainment,
and I know you don’t want to miss it.

The Comedy Fashion Show which will be part of the entertainment
will include eight classmates. 

We are now on count down.
