Dear Class of 1956 Member:
Our
55th Year Class
Reunion
is fast approaching and will be held the weekend of September 16, 2011.
Please check your calendars and make sure you have scheduled yourself and have
made plans to attend. We’re working really hard to make this a fun and
relaxing reunion and we’d like to see as many classmates attend as possible!
For
those who enjoy a good game of golf,
LaFortune
Park
(5501 South Yale) will be the place to be at
7:30 a.m.
on Friday, September 16. Make
sure you reserve your place with Fred Boyd. (918-663-8034)
We
are planning the weekend as a “keep it casual” event. To kick it off
we have arranged for an informal get together on Friday evening starting at
7:00 p.m.
, at Hyatt Place Hotel,
7037 South Zurich Ave.
Heavy Hors d’oeuvres will be
provided in the room next to the first floor lounge.
Saturday
morning festivities will be held at the Tulsa Elks Lodge, 5335 S. Harvard
starting at 11:00 a.m., this time has been provided for reminiscing. Lunch
will be served at
12:00
Noon
. The menu will include old
fashion Coney’s, Taco/Potato Bar, and Root Beer floats.
After lunch, get ready to “
Stroll Down Memory Lane
.” And, enjoy a “Comedy Fashion Show.” There
will be a few other surprises along the way. Casual attire has been requested by
the majority of our classmates. Please be comfortable!!
And,
it’s not over yet. There will be a
BBQ Dinner at
6:00 p.m.
We will have wonderful food and
beverages, and a lot more time for reminiscing, getting reacquainted, dancing
and entertainment. Luigi will
provide beautiful songs and music for those of you who like to dance.
The Juke Box will provide Oldies type music in the dining room, another
area for reminiscing. A cash bar
will be provided for your convenience.
Costs:
$56.00 for Friday evening social and the all day event on Saturday.
It’s not too late to make your reservations. Please make all

with your form – as soon as possible, with a deadline of September 5th.

you’ll need to mail your payment. Also, please check the website for
updates and information (and pictures!) as the reunion date grows closer.
We
feel sure this will be a reunion you will not forget, but it won’t be the same
if you’re not there! We hope you
will be able to attend and look forward to seeing you on September 17.
