I.
Welcome – Allen Keenan
Our chairman welcomed us to the

Jacqueline reported one expenditure of $399.00 for 2 years for our new website
host, which leaves a balance of
$11,404.03.
IV. Sub-Committee Reports –

Fundraising
Chris Seger has indicated that the Solicitation Letter sent out by himself and
Bill Bruckner raised $5,000 in just
the first week, which is an excellent start on their
goal of $20,000.

State of the Class
Barry Epperson has undergone a knee replacement and we have lost another
class-mate, Alayne Bolian Anderson
·
Venue
Fred Boyd reported that things are on track.

Decorations, Food and Registration
Marilyn Gilmer displayed items from reunion for the CHS Class of 1954 which can
serve as a starting point for our welcome
packet, registration forms and newsletters.

Communications
Allen suggested that we explore the possibility of putting the Reunion Tom-Tom
on a CD rather than using a print
format. It was observed that video
resolution can vary widely & that
issue should be addressed before a commitment is made.
Ed Wheeler, who has agreed to serve
as the new editor for the Newsletter, indicated that
he would like to focus on “human interest” articles to entice classmates to
want to attend the reunion. It was suggested that the Newsletter be published on
our web site once a month to build
further excitement.

Tentative Schedule
September 28, Thursday evening will be reserved for Junior High School
gatherings.
September 29, Friday will feature golf & tennis tournaments at La Fortune
Park in the morning, a Ladies Luncheon at
noon and Dinner that night when Elementary and Junior
High School group pictures will be made. September
30, Saturday will feature the Assembly and Memorial Service at the new

Round Table

Everyone examined the Class of ’54 items for ideas.
Greta Cailloux took some of them to explore costs.
·
The Assembly Committee of Carolyn McGee, Gretchen Ross, Joniel
Russell and Sue Venable will try to
meet separately before the next general committee meeting.
·
It was suggested that some “senior” hoofers be recruited to
perform a tap dance routine at the Assembly!
·
Comments were made that our “Class Statistics” should be
updated to reflect the current status
of our class. Perhaps a survey would
yield useful information.
·
The committee would like to see a repeat performance by Bo Mapes
in his classic swing across the stage
on a rope!
