Meeting was called to order by chairman, Allen Keenan at 6:30 p.m. at Kilkenny's eaterie. Those in attendance were:

The minutes of the last meeting were read and approved.

Paul Peterson was thanked for setting up the great Website. We can use this method for contacting everyone. It is important to obtain as many e-mail addresses as possible.

The newsletter is ready for mailing. We affixed address labels. It was distributed over the e-mail to those addresses that we have. Ardis suggested taking a photo of the committee "Hard at work" and include it in the next newsletter. More articles about classmates (like the one about Barry Epperson in the current issue) would be interesting.

The State of the Class report was given by Allen Keenan. There is a CD available with all the names and addresses on it. Dotty Westby and Dick Rapier are responsible for producing this. Out of 1053 classmates, 735 are found, 101 deceased, and 200 are still lost. Richard Minshall asked if any of our teachers are still living. We will look into that.

The Development Committee report was given by Allen Keenan. Bill Bruckner and Chris Seeger have appointed Barry Epperson, Dotty Westby and Janet Ferrill to be on the committee. We need about $20,000 extra funds. They suggested we ask 40 people to donate $250 to set up the fund. Send an e-mail to Bill or Chris if you have any suggestions for fund raising.

Clifford Cantrell gave a report about a class gift. He suggested contacting the students at Central High the year before our reunion, and get an idea of a nice gift for the school. The committee approved. If you have any ideas, give them to Cliff.

Deer Jewelry on South Peoria has a large "50s" photo. We will try to get a copy of it to use.

The assembly committee (Joniel Russell and Carolyn McGee) opened the discussion asking for ideas. They would love to have a skit like the one that Gay Hammond and Janet Ferrill presented at our last assembly. We hope to have the assembly at the new High School in their auditorium and have Gretchen or Alta play the organ and have the whole opening exercise like in the "Old Days". Have Ed Wheeler lead us in the America's Creed and sing "Oh Great Spirit" They want the Cheerleaders again.

Website report was given by Paul Peterson. Women can log on and receive a Moms day message. Please send memories to Paul. Any photos should not include our signatures.

The Central High School foundation asked us for a nominee from our class who graduated with us, who is living and is an outstanding person. He or She must also be able to attend the banquet. The entry must be submitted by June 30. Any ideas contact Allen. We recommended "Model PHipps"

There was no party report.

Class of 1950 has a breakfast club. Allen wants to know if we want to do that. It was approved. Friday mornings was suggested as a time. Bob Searcy will be in charge of setting up the first meeting and let us know the place.

Roundtable discussion: Ardis - "we're on the right track", Joniel asked "ideas for the assembly" be given to her or Carolyn.

Someone suggested Harold Hecht and Jack Siggins for "in between acts" Richard Minshall suggested having Greta Ann play.

Have football Queen and her court and King Daze, also Vicki Hamilton and Anita White. He asked if there was any place at the old Central Building to meet. Answer is "NO". There is a Hall of Memories at the new Central.

Tom needs volunteers for the Tom Tom committee. Ruthie Johnson and Sally Minshall will help.

We adjourned about 8:30 after addressing the newsletter.

Sincerely, Carolyn Eads McGee for Nanci Calderwood.
